| The thing is that the trip itself would be tramatic to them , nearly 8 hours on a plane total. :( between layovers and such, then the thing with customs, and quaratining, and such. Then there is the case of not having a place for them there, KS has one cat and has a small apartment, and that is where we will stay for now. It has been hard enough getting papers ready for me and all the things I will need to get into Canada, so the most logical and humane thing to do would be find them a home here. I have looked briefly at the no kill shelters, but would feel more comfortable placing them and knowing they are taken care of. I have had Gypsy going on 6 years, and Sasha over a year and a half. So you can understand why I would feel that way. They are great cats, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do, even in the name of love. Thanks -jb |
