Oh dear God -(umm general nonsensical rant) by fuzzface 2002-10-19 03:10:42
I guess this is irrelevant here, but I just got Aglets working, it took me all day but I'm happy with progress (I get one Aglet("King") to make another("Peasant") and then the peasant goes and walks around a couple of servers.

Aglets are little pieces of self-mobile Java code to those of you lucky enough not to be doing grad CompSci....

I didn't realise just how picky Java can be sometimes, and how little documentation there is for Aglets.

Still tomorrow I have to
-Make more than one Peasant
-Implement Mutual Exclusion
-Implement Deadlock Detection.

(If you're looking for a point to this post you may as well give up now, there isn't one)

I've got ideas on all of these, but I've been here 14 hours now, it's time for bed.

I'm just incredibly friggin happy that the things are running YAY!
