has a small tar that you use either 8m I think or 16(I forget the exact sizes). You bootstrap and edit a config or two. Then it fetches via your internet connection the needed files. I forget if they are all compiled on download or if it also fetches precompiles. Keep in mind chromatix is on an ethernet connect where he's getting I think 2M connect or so. I forget the exact time of the kernel compile in that thing but I think it was 24 hrs... On the irc I gave my estimate.<shrug> :)
