      "truth==perception" by mirage 2002-10-18 17:47:23
How's this?

truth: a statement corresponding with fact. (Correspondance theory)
fact: a statement of (uniform?) reality. (I do not think it need be "uniform reality" ie. Did a tree that fell in an empty universe actually fall, since no one was there to see it? Or whatever that quote actually is. ;p)
real: that which is perceived. (from: reality can never be seperated from sense perception, only made more coherent by using multiple participators)
- subjective reality: perception from one participator
- uniform reality : perception from 2+ participators

So, truth is somewhat equivalent to perception, especially when dealing with the individual, - where it can be equal to perception - but in other cases (most?) it is equivalent to multiple levels of perception (iow. fact). But, you can never have an absolute reality, as we can never be seperated from sense perception. And therefore, no absolute truth.
