The only relation between knowledge and the ability to reason is that presumably you must have some knowledge on which to base your reasoning.
True, real, actual, and factual are not all proper synonyms as they do not have the same meanings in all cases. Synonyms do not have the associative property. Just because real is a synonym of factual, and actual is a synonym of real, does Not mean that actual is a synonym of factual. Actual requires physical existance, while factual only requires truth. 1+1=2 is factual, but not actual. There is no physicallity there.
