I'm far from average... And the IQ argument is actually a money one. PCs are cheaper and there is a (loose) correspondance between wealth and IQ. Also, I've had some strange network problems with Macs. With a PC (windows) you can manually (re)set all of the network properties, with a mac... if theres a problem: toggle/reboot and pray. (I may be showing my pre OSX bias here depending on how different it is)
