I have owned a Mac and would again. My biggest complaint is the cost. I can build a PC of very high capability for $1,000 US, I can't build a Mac as the OS is not available for sale. And Macs of equivalent capability will be a minimum of twice as much. I much prefer the user interface on the Mac and have recommended it for people (like my Mom) who are not going to game, who do home office stuff, surf and email, and are not very technical. Nowdays if I set up a non-MS box for myself it'll be a Linux box of some flavor... or maybe OpenBSD
