I personally prefer PCs but I used Macs in university. The OS is more stable than Windows-any version. Most problems can be fixed just by rebooting the computer. The downside is there is significantly less software available for the Macs and a lot of tech support people don't know how to troubleshoot them. At least in my company.

Haven't used Linux, so can't compare that as an OS. And have never owned a Mac so I don't know how reliable the hardware is. I'd assume it is similar to the OS.

Any UFie own a Mac?
