What's hte big deal?
When my mom was growing up in Minnisota, they had a number of things in the medicine cabinet. Three of them were the following:
A jug labeled "Hoof and Mouth"
A jug labeled "Mad Cow"
and a hypodermic needle.
When the cow got said disease, the injection was given, and a few weeks later, was back to normal. All the milk produced in these few weeks, and hte week after for good measure, was tossed out... But no cows had to be slaughtered and burned over it. |
