also even between provinces the variety of stuff differs I was told(my ex's sister told me she found a big diffrence in what was available in stores in Ont vs BC brand wise... apprently bc has more choices). I found though in Wa state alone(though I've been to several western ones) that there is just plain more variety. But overall yes alot is the same just we deal in metric and they in standard.
