| Please do not call John Howard an Australian |

John Howard, our PM, is a member of that evil race known as ecconomists, and not a citizen of Australia.
When we first began to be shocked in this country by the racist antics of on Ms. Pauline Hanson and her One Nation policy, most of the intelligent members of this nation were outraged and wanted to see her out of office and public sight asap. Even Howard publicly remonstrated her for her opinions. When she started to gain popularity in the polls, however, that same man, whilst still publicly denouncing her, started adopting her ideas and her votes. To John Howard the $ is more important than the people that live here. When asked about the sudden lack of services in this country (we used to be a world leader in electronics and medical research) Little Johny (our nickname for him) just points to the budget and shouts about how much cash we have now (funny, after the 10% gst tax I feel a little worse).
When the US decided to barge into Afghanistan like a dentist doing a root canal with a chainsaw, Little Johny graciously voluntered our soldiers to help. When he asked Bush to lay off on the wheat subsidies because our farmers our starving to death the answer was no.
Now terror has struck on our door step. Indonesia is about as close to Australia as you can get. We enjoy an extremely diverse culture base in Australia and I am proud to call people from every race I see in this country Australian. To divide us by following the US's bid for world domination is not going to go down very well. Already we've seen mosques had fire bombs thrown at them here and tensions between communities are high. Let us please stop this now!
You cannot fight terrorism. Terrorists do not belong to a country nor have a single head of operations as do countries. For every terrorist that you kill you create 2 more. Do the maths. We are fighting our own people. If there are conflicts then surely in this, the 21st century, we can find other means to fix them.
I have so much more to say, but I wonder sometimes if anyone is listening. |
