you can't do that in the home edition. My dad has to change the resolution to 800x600 so he can see things on the 17" monitor back home, and my brother always changes it back to 1152x864. It's quite annoying, but we know no way of fixing it.
The professional edition, however, has that built in. Each user sets their own resolution (though it can mess up the icon placement of other users' desktops), and it stays that way.
There may be a freeware program somewhere that would take care of it, but I've never checked, since I'm the sole user of this computer. |
