The problem with the argument you present, besides the omission of the above point, is the fact that it depends so much on the term "married" while deliberately saying that gays cannot _get_ married.

"You are damned for doing something without the permission I refuse to give you!"

That's the hypocrisy that makes me want to see just how many cheeks those people have to turn. (I'm pretty sure they don't know how to turn them, though, so it'd be a futile exercise.)
