it's his mom's cable modem and net access. She's umm a dominant person. Also very pro windows and no clue on linux. She would let him fix her windows but I doubt she'd let him near her connect with anything linux... It's a good thing he can use up to 3 ips because thats about the only way knowing his mom<shrug> Anyways Chris I'm glad you can get online in nix again... I know it was a pita to deal with the windows one with someone always hanging about... now you have privacy and the OS your most comfy with. :)
