I used to have to go to computer-type conventions. I hated them muchly. Everyone else there DID look alike. There were times when I thought it was just one other person there, and the effect was acheived with mirrors. Geeks look, act, and sound alike. The few times one is able to secure a second date, it seems as if they're so proud that they've got a girlfriend in the works, they forget quite what to do, if they ever knew to begin with. She never does take any sort of priority in his life, which is still centered around the false worlds he prefers to live in. |
