| You know, maybe it's the egalitarian in me, but I've never seen women as being "weaker" than men. I think hitting people is just plain wrong (unless it's a child who needs the switch, then you do it coldly and with punishment in mind, never in anger), but if I had to physically defend myself from a woman, I just don't think I'd have a problem belting her really hard so that the fight would just be over.
I remember an incident once at university; someone I carpooled with was a militant feminist, and she got into a heated debate with one of the guys in the carpool. It got so bad they started yelling, and she lunged out and smacked him in the face. He slapped her back and she started to bawl, screaming "you should never hit a woman!"
That was right about when I learned how much I hated hypocrisy and double standards. |
