There's also more to it than saving a buck and getting the cheapest computer on earth.

You need to beable to spot the quality of a piece of equipment, and the lack of quality. Then you also need to figure out what level of quality you're willing to go down to to meet a specific budget.

I personally back MSI motherbaords. This is because they meet my own person cost vs. quality line. They're not hte cheapest thing out there, and they're not the highest quality. But I won't be using it for more than 6 months anyways.
