And looking at the situation logically, I think that if she is dead-set on marrying AJ, Miranda should have a heart-to-heart with him, probably via IRC, since he seems more comfortable with that mode of communication. However, their romance will make it very difficult or impossible to maintain their professionalism in the office, and it will interfere with all their relationships with the other characters, so if she's less-than committed to him, she is wiser to set her sites elsewhere.
