I very seriously doubt that he was able to keep his dialysis machines going the entire time, and I'm pretty confident he died a rather miserable death because of it. Now, of course al Qaeda, being Allah's chosen warriors and all, would want its enemies (y'know...everybody else) to think that despite these glaring odds, he's still alive and kicking. He's more than just their leader, he's the spokesman and the posterboy. If he's dead, then the entire organization seems weak, fragile, and vulnerable. |
