the security certificates.....

This seems to be the thing that messes up OWA the most. We have a fun problem here with Macs. Being a M$ shop IE is the only browser supported - however IE on the Mac is *very* fussy about security certificates and won't let you connect to a secure site unless you have a CA validated certificate. This is a bit of a pain - as a CA certificate is overkill really - all SSL is being used for it to encrypt the data between the server and the client, not to validate the server's identity.....
