Always willing to help out! ;-)

First, you can. Well, maybe you can't, but most UFies could. It's called a "synopsis". See nin_man's reply to your post.

Second, that may be. The link is nice, in case I'm interested enough in the synopsis to want to learn more. However, I am neither a jarhead nor am I jumping on you for the insane reason you suggested. I am jumping on you for being a snide arshole about it.

Besides, why waste time being ON the board? If "99%" of the people already know what you know, why waste our time by telling it to us again? If, on the other hand, you get a clear indication of someone indicating ignorance, then feel free to post away - if your only reason for posting is to educate. Of course, just providing a link is pretty much failing in that regard, too. So I'd suggest that what people may or may not know already is _not_ the reason you should reply. You should reply because you are interested or wish to help.

And for our foreign friends, "hash it out" or "rehash it", but not "rehash it out".
