Managers make mistakes, too by tigermouse 2002-10-03 08:21:29
Managers are not perfect, and have the ability to rationalize and justify wrong-headed moves just like any other. Putting someone on probation without seeking their side is wrong-headed, whether the last issue was two years ago or two weeks ago.

I also think it's unfair of you to accuse Adiplomat of arrogance. I saw no high horse, or claiming he deserved a medal. He simply stated the last complaint about him was two years ago, and as a worker in a typically high-stress, highly interactive position, that's saying something.
