Batch files by rdarsey 2002-10-03 04:45:53
I would think you could do what you want with a batch for, using a "for in" statement. I am not up on DOS Batch file commands, but in unix it would be something like this:

for i in 'ls dir that has files'
do
mv $i "name I want"
done

or something close to that. Perl will also let you do it, and I know you can run perl scripts on DOS/Windows.

Just a thought.
