Launch Windows Explorer (or local equivalent)
Select the file in question, wait a short while (to avoid double-clicking it), then click on the filename again.
It will then become possible to type in a new name, or edit the existing one as if it was a Windows standard text-entry box.
Hit Enter when you've finished and Voila!
In older versions I don't recall. But older versions wouldn't let you have a name that long anyway, so no matter. |
