tiny little fan there. And hmm I forget what that part of the computer does too. I'm not particularly a hardware person. I took hardware of pc's and macs back in the early to late 80's. However then got out of computers for many years(partly because I couldn't afford to buy one and partly because most work I had back then if they used anything it was just a word processor). So I don't necisarily know all the modern hardware stuff.(years ago I was more into programming than the hardware stuff but had to take that in my courses of the time all the same) Anyways yea whatever it is must get hot. Its in a hot spot anyways that close to the cpu, ram, and agp video card. But its a cute tiny little fan... that is if you can call hardware cute.(personally I think part of my agp video card reminds me of gonzo's nose from the muppets lol)
