| Other animals got claws, wings, and blowtorches and other cool body-weapons with which to survive. Homo sapiens got imaginative brains. We developed an instinctual drive to imagine and create solutions for survival. That imagination has stuck around in the same way as have our drives to reproduce, eat fattening foods, and snarl at each other. We gained our drive (not just ability, our drive) to imagine and create because it was evolutionarily advantageous to do so. It is still advantageous to do so and it still feels good.
I think God planned it that way. Evolution is so spiritual. |
