i can't get at the link described in the FAQ, so i did some more searching. basically, you have a binary in the game directory (but need to run it in the System directory), so just run this:
./ucc decompress ../Maps/Entry.unr.uz -nohomedir

this will put the map in the System directory, which you need to move back to Maps/ and you need to do this for every map too. hope this helps.
