At one point it came with a rather nasty sort of spyware. You weren't told it was being installed, it monitored all sorts of very personal activity (things entered on web forms and such), and had a tendancy to pop up ads when no ads should pop up. I'd provide a link, but the site I had bookmarked has since gone belly up. Unfortunately, I don't even remember the name. I think it started with a "V"?
