you can download runs a lot of banner ads. I'm presuming they get some revenue from this, even if you don't choose to buy it. My read on Winzip is that it has been around a long time, and has become very stable, not to mention a staple in the Windows environment. I don't know of too many doze users who don't use Winzip. I know I've been "evaluating" it for about 5 years or more. I finally had a crisis of conscience and mailed them a check so I could live with myself. I mean, they make (IMHO) a superlative product for use in the Windows environment (a major feat unto itself), and they only ask a pittance for it. I think I'm going to buy another copy of it just to make my wife's conscience toe the line.
