there are more books than what the bible chooses. Christian, Catholic and even Judaism all use some of the same books, but each decides that some of the other books don't fit.

Lilith was mentioned often in the Kabbalah, which was Judaism. I'm not sure if it was in Catholicism, but Christians chose not to take that book. It didn't fit. (Though I'm sure it was said differently.) Before brushing something off as an Urban Legend, you should get access to the books not included in your bible to check. They are probably listed somewhere else.
