It would mean that God intentionally created something that was evil and let it loose upon the earth. In most religions, there wouldn't be a problem with this, as there has to be a balance. If there is no evil, then there is no good, and any deity that would create good and not evil would be a poor creator. The idea of Lilith earns the Christian god (or the creators of Him?) a little more respect in my eyes. I've always thought that whole omnipotent and perfect idea was a little much to swallow.
