diaggonally accross the middle diagonal(from Cincinati, to Dayton, to Columbus, to Cleveland), plus most of the north west corner, is all urban/ suburban.
I have driven through Ohio several times, and you have to drive hours through farmland in between those cities. (Okay, maybe Dayton to Columbus is only an hour and a half of farmland. ;-))
Also, Eastern Kentucky and Tennessee are too mountainous for large scale farms. The farms are more in the central parts of those states, and even then they aren't as wide and flat as Ohio farm lands. |
