You can pick up a C-net (No, not the web-site, some small network vendor from Asia.) switch for less then $40 Retail. The place that I work at on Saturdays sells them for $39.99. They are decent devices. However... The original poster has already stated that he has little money to work with, since he is having trouble buying food... Later all.
