Partitions? I don't need no steenking partitions. Win2K, Win98SE, and Suse are on seperate physical drives. (Ten drives, all told.)

Of course, it's a non-trivial task in 2K to tell which physical drive is which logical drive. The 5.25" and 3.5" floppies, the CD-ROM and the CD-RW are easy enough, as are the Zip drive and CF reader. The hard drives are another matter, and I finally resorted to a spreadsheet to keep it all straight.

Now, if I can figure out why 2K throws a "Physical Drive 11 is not ready" error when I do a right-click on a file in Explorer, the CF reader is plugged in, and it doesn't have a card in it... 2K knows it's a removeable media drive.

Ah well. Windows always comes up with something.
