and chooses to ignore them is irrelevant. TYhey know what those consequences are and are capable of making an informed decision. A 12 year old has no concept of what bringing a child into the world entails, or what it would do to their life.
A six year old has no idea what drinking can do to them, or what the dangers are. Your comparison has no bearing.

Children are not adults.

I haven't read the rest of this thread yet, but I am sure others have said the same things I have to say, so I'll shut up now.
