My question was not whether the current arbitrary date made sence or not. The question before you is are as follows: Note, this assumes that you accept as fact that society has the right to set such criteria. If you do not accept this assumption, then you are proposing anarchy. Which has proven time and time again to be a failure. So if society has the right to set such criteria. How should it be set? Note that in the US the law must be written so that it applies equally to all, does not require subjective interpretation by any indaviduals and is easy to administer/edjuticate. If all you disagree with is the arbitrary age, then we are in agreement. Personally, I would prefer a single age of majority of 19.
