Sorry about that last subject. I just had a fear this was going to erupt in another debate as to whether or not going door-to-door was acceptable/appropriate/legal/moral/etc.

I have heard about the 144k saved (there's a verse in Revelations that mentions that number); couldn't remember it in reference to the JWs though. Seems kind of counter-productive to proselyte, though; I mean, if you were a JW, and you believed only 144,000 of you would be saved, wouldn't you want to keep people *out* to increase your odds of being one of the 144,000? *shrug*
