The family of the "victim" goes after the train company and usually recovers huge piles of money in damages. Neither side should profit from such an unfortunate incident. The train company should be able to recover reasonable clean up costs from the estate of the suicide, but they shouldn't go after the family. And these bums in America shouldn't sue the train company at all if their darling dips**t loved one jumps in front of a train to commit seppuku.
