thread and none of them have "crossed the line" as they did in the past, so I have no problem. I just HONESTLY think that particular line of reasoning is one of the stupidest I've seen in this forum since I've been here. That doesn't mean I want the poster to leave.

Other subthreads have contained reasonable ideas, and some which I agree with. Which apparently only fails to surprise myself - it's amazing how many people don't think I'll ever agree with them just because I don't like 90% of what they say. Ahem.

I try to keep things in the proper perspective, and the proper thread. If someone is acting an ass in one thread but very reasonable in another thread, my responses will almost always reflect that splitness - I will attack in the first thread and discuss or defend as appropriate in the second.

HOWEVER, my responses wherever ma petite is concerned will remain overtly hostile, as I don't believe there is any sincerity in the apology being offered to her. Perhaps my standards are too high in this regard, but I believe the severity of the offense was too great for the "let's just pretend it never happened, shall we" type of response.

That is all.
