You can drink all the alcohol you want. So long as you are at a private residence, do not leave that residence while under the influence of alcohol and have obtained the alcohol legally.

The "Drinking Age" laws only apply to the public comsumption of alcohol and are in place to protect members of society from those who lack proper experience in handling their alcohol.

Unfortunately, what was a good idea has been turned into a bad law. The origanal idea was that adolescents should learn to handle the effects of alcohol under parental supervision and where they could not harm others. Unfortunately this has turned into an almost complete prohibition of alcohol consumption for adolescents.
