Driving/fighting/visiting ex-girlfriends after consuming alcohol results in harm to others. Alcohol doesn't hurt other people, people hurt other people. The only case where I can see another person being hurt directly by the individual drinking is in the case of the pregnant mother, and I honestly don't know if we have the right to tell a mother she can cosume poison, but not while she's with child.
