is base on many factors. What you eat, the state of your stomach when you drink the alcohol, the rate at which you drink and what you are doing while you drink. All of these factors can influence the rate and amount of alcohol is absorbed into the blood stream though the stomach. If you drink an entire piture of beer all at once, it will have less of an effect then if you drink spread it out over time. Drunkeness is simply a ratio of how much alcohol is in your blood stream. That depends on physical health, size and amount of acohol absorbed through the stomack wall.
