I used to have a cord from my belt loop by pecosdave2002-08-26 06:43:40
I have a far more effective solution: by wheresthefish2002-08-26 09:11:12
My solution was this.. by caffine-iv 2002-08-26 09:16:07
I made copies of all the keys my family uses. Even the ones only one family member uses.

I have a key for my truck, moms two cars, the old car, and my brothers two vehicals, the post office, the front door, the front dor deadbolt, andh te back door (yes, 3 seperate keys :P)

My mom also has a set identical to mine. My brother has a set identical to hers and mine. A spare set is hanging up in the kitchen. Each vehical also has a spare door key (but not a running key) in a magnetic container stuck underneath. Each vehical also has a spare runnign key in the spare tire section of the trunk. Except for my truck which has no trunk, which gets it's spare running key under the hood precariously places next to the airfilter (outer edge).
