On the other hand, how much different is it to make a kid do house chores all day everyday all summer?
I'm sure I'm not the only one who had to clean the kitchen and bathroom and mow hte lawn every saturday, wash the cars and dads tractor trailer every sunday, organize and vaccum the upstairs on monday, organize and vacuum the downstairs on tuesday, and stuck in the front yard wednesday wit the sprinkler. At least Wednesdays were partially fun =) Thursday and Friday were my weekends.
That lasted through the summer... Winter time, I was reduced to only having to clean the house on the weekends.
I would have gladly gotten a job somewhere, cuz hten I'de have been paid for it :D |
