The DOTD (Debate of the Day) by slayer2002-08-26 04:43:33
  I'll agree to that. by caffine-iv2002-08-26 04:54:28
Completely agree. by Sehmket 2002-08-26 08:11:45
As a USain at my age, I can drive, I can vote, I can hold public office (up to the state level), I can volunteer to die for my country (I'm female, so they won't draft me), but I can't enjoy aa nightcap. What's up with that?

Furthermore, were I to move a few hundred miles (Er... Kilomoters) north, I would be able to. Oblviously the drinking age is more or less aritrary, since it's 21 in the US, 19 in Canada, 17 in Mexico, and (from what I hear) involves being tall enought to put the money on the counter in Europe. (Drinking age is the one that really gets me)

And furthermore, I was hoppin' pissed durring the last presidential election when I was only a few months shy of being able to vote. I had opinion, damnit, I had twice the opinion of half the people who voted! And I know people who refuse to talk politics with me, because I didn't vote in the last federal election! Argh!
