That would be stupid.

Now if a group of unemployed people split off from said village and founded their own place and based an economy off of trade, "free" labor would be okay. It woudln't really be free in their eyes, but in everyone elses it would be.

Jack goes to Jill and gives her a pail of water, and she then later goes back to Jack and gives him half a pail of coffee. Was any of it _really_ free?
