that the line itself isn't the problem. I'm no PHP expert, but I suspect that you may find an error a few lines up, maybe there's a previous function that has been modified, maybe it's just a data-type problem. Have you tried confirming that the inputs to chdir are ok? Throw me the tarball to wheresthefish at lineone dot net and I'll have a look. I make no promises though...
