The name is coined by the carni's because the flavoring used to make cotton candy is called Flossine. Yes, cotton candy is flavored. Blue is raspberry, purple is grape, yellow is banana, pink is vanilla, brown is chocolate.. Get one of hte multipul colored bags and take a sample of each. They'll taste different, honest :) Unless they did some magical thing with pure coloring and no flavoring. Tho that would be idiotic.
