Stupidity of laws by Kickstart 2002-08-06 19:18:49
Case in point...here in BC the following is true:

- (Before it was banned) When a car was caught in automatic photo radar, the ticket was assigned to the owner of the car, not the driver. No opportunity was given for "innocent until proven guilty".
- "Crack house" owners are immune to prosecution, the entire onus of the criminal act is on the residents of the house, even if the house is rented to one group of drug dealers after another for years. Even after the police bust the house over and over again.

I'm utterly sick of the lack of logic in gov't.
