I had to memorize the homonuclear diatomic atoms for my chem class in high school. Still remember, cause I put them in a little mnemonic memory thing.

HI, BrAt ON ClIFF

Hydrogen, Iodine, Bromine, Astatine, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Clorine, Floride.

This is just from memory, so I could be wrong, but I think those were the only atoms that were naturally homonuclear diatomic.
